ESAB Cryo-Shield Ni9 Flux Cored Wire Offers Crack Resistance, Lowers Total Cost For LNG Fuel, Storage Tank Applications
ESAB Welding & Cutting Products has globally introduced Cryo-Shield Ni9, a Ni Cr Mo alloy flux cored wire used for all-position welding of 9% Ni steel LNG fuel and storage tanks with 100% CO2 shielding gas. This modified 625-type wire offers excellent crack resistance and is superior to conventional NiCrMo-3 wires. Mechanical properties are similar to Hastelloy ENiMo-13 flux cored wires but at lower purchase price because of its modified formula. Further, because it uses 100% CO2 shielding gas instead of an argon blend, it lowers operating cost. The wire carries approvals from the ABS, BV, DNV GL, KR, LR and CCS classification societies.
“We developed Cyro-Shield Ni9 in response to ...
Annapolis Junction, Md. – Victor®, an ESAB brand, has launched its improved EDGE™ 2.0 ESS32 PFH-580 pressure/flow hybrid regulator. The new design allows for significantly higher flow performance during pressure testing, resulting in systems that pressurize much faster and improve productivity. Designed for three common HVAC applications — brazing, purging and pressure testing — the EDGE 2.0 PFH-580 combines flow and pressure regulation functions in a single device.
Traditionally, a regulator would either be a flow regulation device or a pressure delivery regulation device. To create a wide range of adjustability, Victor designed the newly patented dual-stage gas flow orifice. The first ...
