ESAB Introduces OK Autrod 12.24 Wire

ESAB Welding & Cutting Products introduces OK Autrod 12.24, a molybdenum- alloyed, copper-coated wire for submerged arc welding of non-alloyed and low-alloyed steels. Designed for creep resistant steels (0.5% Mo), this wire is ideal for use with structural steels, ship building steels, pressure vessel steels and pipeline steels. This wire meets SFA/AWS 5.23: EA2 classification.

OK Autrod 12.24 in the new 2200 lb EcoCoil package will provide pipe mills with the high-productivity, high-quality product they require. Additionally, this alloy is well suited to the fabrication of pressure vessels that require post-weld heat treatment.
